Hypnos -The Greek God of Sleep

About Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a relaxing, naturally occurring state of mind which we drift in and out of naturally numerous times every day.

When we read a captivating novel, float off in a daydream, or we get engrossed in a good film, we are in a natural state of hypnosis.  How many times have you driven home and not remembered the journey?

During hypnosis you will not do anything that you would not do out of hypnosis, you cannot be made to do anything that you don't want to do, and you are in full control at all times.

All hypnosis is self hypnosis, the hypnotherapist is just the guide that takes you through the process that enables you to access your subconscious and remove any habits, or phobias that you don't want.

You cannot get stuck in a hypnotic trance, even if your hypnotherapist collapsed during the session and you were in a deep trance, you may fall asleep but you would always wake up.

The depth of trance is decided by you, the more you are able to relax the deeper the level of trance.  For the majority of therapies, you only need to be lightly in trance, however if you are planning on exploring past lives you will need to relax into a deep trance.

Whatever the condition you have consulted your therapist for, the majority of clients report sensing an overwhelming feeling of wellbeing upon alighting from hypnosis - a most enjoyable experience.
